Photoshoot Spotlight Post
Ziye' Taylor's author portrait session.

So it’s not often that I write about a photoshoot like this but I thought it would be fun to start making a photoshoot spotlight post every once in a while.
So here it is!
Recently I got close to someone I work with, Ziye’, and we bonded over our similar taste in music and the fact that we are both working to push our small business’s. When I found out that she was as author, I knew I would eventually HAVE to read her book.
I usually don’t read a lot of romance but how often do you have a coworker who is an author? It had to be done.
So I read her book and I loved it. It was her first book and in my opinion, she nailed it! Thanks to her book, i’m going to be giving the romance genre some more tries.
Once we chatted about doing a photoshoot together, I knew it was going to be a freaking amazing time. And an amazing time we had. We seriously captured some magic with these photos. She mentioned wanting to have some photos for her author picture in her book, so I tried to keep that in mind!
But obviously we got carried away with vibes.
She’s actually working on releasing the second book for her series. And I will definitely be buying once it comes out!

Fun fact about it too. She recently stopped while we were working and pointed out that she has a character named Chloe in her new book. Nothing big at all but I had to ask. “Is Chloe going to be the bully? Is that why you warned me?” Because that tends to be the case with character’s named Chloe. To my surprise she actually mentioned a girl named Chloe who is also a photographer shortly after meeting me for the first time.
I remember thinking it was the sweetest thing ever. Me? Are you kidding? I am so incredibly honored.
So yeah!
If you haven’t checked her out already. Check her books out! She is a romance author, so if that s your thing, give it a try!
Until next time.
Uniquely yours,
Chloe Conlin
